Rest Service - cannot use search together with keys or categoryFilter

Hi all !

I'm using a REST Service together with a Dojo Grid (Extension library).

I'm setting the categoryFilter to only get the documents from a certain category in the view.

If I only use the categoryFilter (og keys), then it works well.

But, I would like to do secondary selection using the search parameter.

Now I get back documents from other categories as well. It seems to be that if I use search, the categoryFilter or keys is simply ignored.

Is this the way it should be ? Is it possible combination of these filter/search parameters ? Or do I have to specify it all using search ?

Any information would be greatly appreciated :-) Thanks !

Best regards,
Petter

Hi,

this is the "normal" behaviour,  not like it should be ;-)
You have to to specify it all using search parameters.

Hi Sven,

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, seems like I have to use Search to achieve what I want.

Am I correct when I say that the Search parameter only accepts a FT Search formatted string ?

regards,
Petter

Yes, you can use FTSearch syntax.
