How to use "red" them from OneUI v2.1 on a Domino 9 server

Hello all.

We have a Domino 9.0.1 server and we would like to demo the document Library that uses XPages but we would like to user OneUI v2.1's red theme, as it is an almost perfect fit with the company's color.

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I can't get it to work.  I must be missing somrthing...  What needs to be don ein order to acheive that, if at all possible?  I do have the themes copied in the doc Library, but it just uses OneUIv3's default theme regardless of what I choose in the app properties.

Thanks a bunch!

What are the settings that you are using?

How are you setting the red theme?

App prpoperties and themes copied from other DB

Bill,

I copied all of the themes from a DB that had them (and working), and I also have set up the application properties with "Enable enhanced HTML generation, and set the theme to "red".

Can it be something with me having 8.5.3 and server being 9.0.1?  Should we copy some files on the server?

I am using the Doc Library XL, with the extension Library... maybe that's the problem?

Thanks for your help

Upgrade your client

Though not sure if that is the problem it needs to be done. When the client runs I believe the Theme is loaded from the server so if it is not on the server then it can't load.

I'm not fully up on all the intricacies of the Theme so I'm no expert. Did a little playing around with them a fair while ago and had them working, but have not looked at them for a long time.

Same here...

Bill, my situation, exactly.  I played with them when 8.5 came out, I can make them work locally, but I have no clue on how that works with a Domino 9 server.  It's too bad, as my company uses red a lot and just by using the red theme, the applications are a lot easier to sell.

I'll get to the bottom of this, and I will post the solution here.

Thanks again  ;)

Found it

The solution was quite simple.  Now, in 8.5.3, the Application Properties page has multiple tabs, one of them called XPages.  It's in this tab that you specify the theme to use.

Thanks to Knut Helleman on StackOverflow!!!

And 9.0 changes again
The XPages stuff is moved to XSP properties out of the application properties.
