getMIMEEntity() returning null always

Hi,

I have field on document of type MIME PART. I am trying to accessing  that MIME field via SSJS like doc.getMIMEEntity("fieldname") but system is returning me ‘Null’ value always. Can anyone let me know what is the issue and what is the workaround.
