Pager Save State Not Working

Have an application running on two different Domino servers:

Release 9.0.1FP2HF590 on Windows/Longhorn/64 6.2

Release 9.0.1 on Windows/2003 5.2 Intel

The app is using Pager Save State to remember which category is expanded in a view panel. It runs fine on the Windows 2003 server but throws an error 500 on the 64 bit system. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, is there a work-around from either a coding perspective or server setup/configuration? Thanks in advance!
