Datepicker implementation on Mobile Xpage

Hi everyone,

I'm still new to XPages development and I'd like to ask some help on how to implement Datepicker implementation on Mobile Xpages.

I tried to use the Date Time Picker on the Core Controls Pallette but it doesnt work. (When viewed in browser, the Date Time Picker control becomes two edit-fields on top of each other, the top field having an X on its left. Also, below the two edit-fields is a circle and a square button with no label. No matter what I click, no Date Time Picker pops up.)

Can anyone please show me why it doesnt work or any alternative method?

Using Chrome Version 26.0.1410.43

Windows 7 Professional N SP1

Domino Designer 8.5.3 UP 1

Domino Server 8.5.3 UP 1

As you're on 853 you may need to use a workaround

Notes Domino 9.0 comes with Dojo 1.8 and so you could use http://livedocs.dojotoolkit.org/dojox/mobile/DatePicker... However as you are using 853 which uses Dojo 1.6 you'll need to hack something together. See the following http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9840834/xpages-mobile-date-picker
