XPages Calendar

Hello - I am trying to create a calendar in XPages that does not require using the extension library. We only have notes version 8.5.2 and it can not be upgraded easily.  Does anyone have instructions on how to create a calendar that contains entries?

 There is no native calendar control in Core XPages.  You either have to implement the Extension Library or some other third party library to implement calendaring in XPages.
 
The Extension Library calendar is based upon the iNotes calendar from the mail template.  You could try and hack a solution from that, but it would be a lot of coding I think.
