ExtLib Dialog Readonly

Is there a method/property to have a  xe:dialog box open in readonly.  I'm using a dialog box within a repeat control and would like to have it open either in edit or readonly.

The repeat control datasource is a view.  The dialog is open using CCJS using XSP.openDialog.
