Adding View to XPage - Formatting Problems

Hello,
 
I just started to use XPages in earnes yesterday. I am building a website and am trying to have all the text entered via a form and not having the text within the xml code. As such, I set up a view and got it show on the XPage. The only problem, it leaves one light gray line above the view contents, and one below it. It is annoying, because basically then I can't do something that should be basic.
 
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Did you put the view control in a panel or a div ?
 
I don't see any grey bars on the standard view control.
 
what theme are you using ?  WebStandard ?  OneUI ?  OnewUIv2 or 2.1 ?
 
You need to provide as much detail as possible for us to help you.
 
Possibly post the xml source code from the source tab.
