Hi All

Scenario:

Shared Action located on the menu bar of a view. I would like to open an xpage with xpinc that will collect user information and then allow a save and close on the xpage returning the user to the original view.

My problem is the closing of the XPinc Xpage. I am aware that the window.close() will only work if the window is opened using a window.open so my question to everyone is how do I launch the xpage in xpinc from the action while incorporating the window.open

Attempts:

@URLOpen("JavaScript:window.open(path) - returns JavaScript is only supported from within a document

Client - Common JavaScript - window.open(path) - just doesn't do anything at all

Any suggestions or alternate solutions (closing the xpage within xpinc) are welcome. But not just clicking on the tab's X ;)

Steven

Try using the Notes URL's

I don't have the exact syntax in front of me but try opening the xpages in xpinc using the Notes: URL's.
