This forum has been updated with the following new features, which the users in the forum helped us to test. Please reply to this post if you see any further issues we missed during development and testing.

Display all threads of a topic on one page
In web browsers, main topics and replies now appear on a single web page. You no longer need to open each response individually to read a thread.

Ability to add clickable hyperlinks to a post
While creating or editing posts, look for the link icon on the far right of the editor. When you click it, a link dialog box appears:
Link icon and box
Simple search indicates that a search is complete
The previous design lacked any labeling that your search results were complete:

Answered topics changed to "Resolved Topics"
Based on feedback, we have changed terminology from "Answered/Unanswered" to "Resolved/Unresolved."

With this feature, authors of topics can edit their existing posts to indicate if a question or issue has been resolved. All new topics receive the value Unresolved by default.

Re: 02-Sep-2011 updates to forum design
It's a small thing I guess, but when using the url link function it wasn't obvious what the description field was for - why do I want to add a description to a link? Of course, what it means is the text that displays so why not call it text, which is what it is on the normal xPages url link function for example. I do prefer the way this url dialog looks in general though

I can't see that this version is possible to download on openntf.org? Will it be and if so when?

This forum is getting slow, probably because of the amount of documents. Not good advertising for XPages. It's time to do some performance improvements. Let me know if you need help with that!

#1. I always access posts and responses using rss, when opening a response I cannot see the main topic, and there is no link to get there
#2. Accessing this forum is very slow the first time each day/hour

Think it would be easier to read if the outlines of the response boxes were more pronounced or perhaps a light background color.  Otherwise really like the changes compared to the other forums, any idea when those will be switched over? Kinda odd having three different designs in related forums.
