IBM Discusstion Database have not the style

Dear All:

When I create a discusstion database using the IBM standard disscusstion template and preview in IE, the xpage have no any style, What is the problem? Whether the themes don't work? By the way, my domino server is upgrade from R6.5 to 8.5.1

Have you selected the theme in the Application Properties? If you leave it at "Server Default" it won't look right. In Designer, go to Application Properties, select the XPage tab and then change the theme from "Server Default" to a different theme.

The discusstion template is a stardard template from IBM, and I didn't change any design elements. In XPage properties tag, I find the Application Theme is selected "blue" not "Server default", but it also have not any style when opened in IE. Do you have any other suggestion? thanks
