Pager layout doesn't work

All the pager style options (sample1, 2..., custom) work the same as sample 1. It seems too obvious to occur. Anyone knows the reason? Thanks.

 How are you "testing" this?  When you change the type in designer are you rebuilding your project? (Did you turn auto-build off?)
 
Do you see other changes you make?  
 
What "Theme" are you using? 
 
Are there errors in the log or on the FireBug Console?

Yes. I turned off Build automatically to accelerate modifying the design properties of java design elements in batch. Thanks:)
