I am trying to defend the existence of Notes in our company.

I've been trying to convert some apps to xpages, trying to prove the it's quicker to do it in Notes.

but form time to time, I'd go in to this thing, causing me to slow down.

Just before I posted this, I had to fix around 100 errors about this in my page, just because I moved a button from one point to another.

How to prevent this?

I cannot upgrade for the fix (if any). They are are scrapping Lotus Notes, unless I could prove the benefit of using it over other platform....

thanks

Hello Aldrin,

Your issue is caused by a bug in Designer: in some cases when moving elements on an XPages, parts of the source code are duplicated. It is fixed in 8.5.3 and 8.5.2 FP3.

The issue description can be found here.

 Hi,

Go in the source code of the design element and remove duplicated data and error will be removed.
