Installing Dojo Mobile 1.6.1 on database in 8.5.3

I have Lotus Notes 8.5.3 installed on my machine. Following example given in this link (Its in Japanese, you need to translate it) I was able to create a sample XPage mobile application. But it uses the dojo v1.5.1, installed with Lotus Notes 8.5.3.

I need to use the dojo mobile component from version 1.6.1 in my database. I followed instructions given in this blog by Keith Strickland, and tried to include only dojo mobile, but was unsuccessful.

How can I include dojo mobile controls from v1.6.1 in Lotus Notes 8.5.3 database?

The Domino 8.5.3 server uses Dojo 1.6.1 for XPages. You should see this if you view the HTML source of a test application.

As an example, I see this in one of my applications:
"/xsp/.ibmxspres/dojoroot-1.6.1/dojo/dojo.js"

If you are going to create apps using Dojo Mobile then take a look at the Extension Library and the latest Upgrade Pack 1 for Domino 8.5.3. Both includes XPages Mobile controls.

Thanks for replying.

The reason I want to add the Dojo library in the database itself so that it is not dependent on the server's version. Is there a way to do that?
