Hi,
Correct me if I'm wrong please.  I found out that when a file download control is added in Custom Controls and insert into xpages, it failed to function.  But when I insert the file upload and download directly into a xpages, it's doing great...
Am I missed out something?? or.. is there any work around??

 Well,

If I am not wrong that should not be the case because as far as I remember I have used it both the ways and both of them are working fine with me. Just check whether you are linking it with the document correctly..

I created a form, with a rich text field type. bind both file upload and file download controls in my custom controls page to the field, together with a save button. that's all.
The file upload control function perfectly because I can see my uploaded file from my view.  It just won't show in my download controls if i'm using custom controls in xpages.

After submitting if you are staying on the same page just refresh the page you would be able to see it for sure..
