File Upload Control

For simplicity sake, I have an xpage with a file upload control on it and wanted to know how I can save the selected file in a new document in a different database.  The users have a requirement to have a backup copy of each file that is uploaded in the application stored in a separate database.  I'm looking for some advise on how this could be done or if it is even possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well...

Will,

I've never used the file upload control.  I use PLUpload which I think is much nicer and I do store files in different documents - even in a different db.  I'm working on getting a simple example out - most likely for MWLug, but I did put a little project out that has an example if you want to take a look at that.
