xPage view does not open documents

hi,

I am new in xPages and have this problem:

I have a very simple Database (3 fields, 1 view - sorted).

I have a xPage with a view control and this works fine.

But when I add a document1 to the xPage the view control can`t open any document.

If I click on the first document in the view the link is ...aXPages.nsf/xpform1.xsp?action=openDocument&documentId=NEW_126

If I click a second time on the same document the link is ...aXPages.nsf/xpform1.xsp?action=openDocument&documentId=NEW_127

I have no idea what the problem is...

please help me!

You need to create a separate XPage for the form (document1) data source.

Then in the view control you "link" the clicking of the document in the view column to open the Form XPage.

You need to do yourself a favor and get some formal training before trying to blindly hack your way through XPages development. Regardless of the marketing hype it is NOT easy or intuitive.

I have a xpage for the document1...

I solved the problem with a html-Link - this work - but it would be interesting why the standard link not works.

you are right - I have much to learn. Since 15 years I am notes developer, but the xpages are hard stuff!!!

But it is very interesting and finaly the future...
