I've had a test website running in xpages that I had built a while ago. I wanted to add the extension library to take advantage of some new controls. I added the openntf library. Afterwards, I started getting the 'cannont find library' error. I called ibm support and they said most likely that it was not installed on the server. They suggested I install the released ibm extension library since it incorporated the openntf stuff and they support that. I did but I'm still getting this error. As far as I can tell, it is installed. I checked using "tell http osgi ss com.ibm.xsp.extlib" and got return values that appear to indicate the library is installed ok. Any ideas?

btw, it does launch without errors in the Notes client.

Hi,

did you check you have activated the extension library in the application properties? It's in the designer view of the properties on the advances tab in the lower right corner.

Thanks for the reply. I did have it checked but I wanted to confirm before I replied. Turns out I had 2 entries and both checked:

com.ibm.xsp.extlib.library

com.ibm.xsp.extlibx.library

I unchecked them both and tested and no error! Then I checked the first one and it also worked. Looks like the 2nd one (which must be the openNTF library) never did get fully installed on the sever and so was generating the error.
