strange icon in the download control

 When I add a download control to my xpage I sometimes get an extra icon before the filetype at the title row.
Has anybody else seen this before and is there a workaround to get rid of it?

 In Firebug / Chrome's development tools, find out the URL of the icon, then post it here... that may provide us some hint of its purpose.
