Exporting to Excel Questions

Hi,
Couple of questions:
 
1.   I noticed that when I export my docs to excel  all of the date/time and number fields are in brackets in Excel.  Any ways around this without changing to string? 
 
2. Is there any way to select all documents on every page(s) from a viewcontrol?  I have a button to select all but i only works per page. Do I need a repeat?

 I guess Julian Buss wrote a View article on exporting to excel, which I used. It exports an entire view. I do not know if that is what you want?

Hi! Not quite. My users are filtering out documents in the view and I want them to be able to export those documents into Excel.
