RE: Install Community and Proxy server on same machine ~Phil Bubresaverynds 31.Oct.16 05:51 PM a Web browser Administration 9.0Windows
Ben -
Thanks for the reply. I am not tunneling Sametime over 80 and and did not enable tunneling during the install. I have everything (Community, Proxy, SSC, & DB2) installed on a single server. Sametime chat/awareness is working fine but Proxy is not working. When I look in the SSC it shows that the STProxyServer is not running. When I try to start it I get the following error...
Server cannot be started because the node agent for server STProxyServer on node sametimeSTPNode1 is not active.
When I look at Node Agents in SSC I see that sametimeSTPNode1 is not running... if I try to restart that Node I get the following error...
The node agent on node sametimeSTPNode1 must be started to perform the restart operation. Node agents in stopped state can not be started from the console.
FYI... when going thru the setup I did not do the part where you configure Virtual Hosts for the Proxy server (wasn't sure whether to do that or not since they're ont he same server). I did try to enter IP address to enable trust between Community and Proxy server but got an error when doing so (assumed that was because I was trying to tell it to trust itself).
Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated and thanks again for the reply.
