Hi Ben, thanks again for your reply.
In the mean time i updated the community server to 9.0.1 after some smaller problems.
After this the registration of the Sametime Gateway with the SSC completed successfully, so these two seem to need the same version.
This works now, and im going onwards with installing the rest.
