Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately, the upgrades I have installed are more recent that the cumulative update you mention.
Nevertheless, after having read your message, I visited the ISSI portal and found there newer versions of installation packages:
IBM Sametime 9.0.1 embedded in Notes 9.x (All Languages) - 2016-10-03
IBM Sametime 9.0.1 Stand-alone Client (All Languages) - 2016-10-03
I used them. Now the usernames are cut only in IBM ST embedded, in a stand-alone version they are correct, and the issue with the keyboard (impossible to write some Polish letters) disappeared from both versions.
