Sametime Connect Client 9.0 Macintosh


I am an instructor, out in the training partner environment. I use Sometime to communicate with the IBM course developers. Just tried to install Sometime 9, and it did not like my Java version, which is the latest Java for Mac 8.40. What Java version do I need on Mac OS X 10.10.3 for the Sametime 9 client? Thanks.
