I set up my lab environment yesterday...
3 Notes clients running 8.5.3 FP1
1 Domino server running 9.0.1 with SameTime Community Server Limited Use installed on it
For the SameTime Community Server installation, I chose Domino authentication instead of LDAP. SameTime installed fine, Domino started fine, I was able to log into SameTime from the Notes clients, I see presence, I can chat, I can do group chats... all appears to be working fine.
I did NOT install a SameTime System Console server, no DB2, LDAP is not being used, etc. This is literally just SameTime Community Server Limited Use over Domino running with Domino authentication. What's the catch? I thought I HAD to have ST System Console installed for all of this stuff to work, but it all appears to work just fine without it. Is there something I'm missing here?
