I suggest that you Google for documentation, it's pretty easier to find. If you weren't aware that WebSphere needs to be used then you really need to plan and read before pushing buttons.
You can use DB2 on an existing server but make sure it's a supported version and you have ports opened from the DMZ to DB2.

You need to ensure that you have the network set up which is again documented in the Sametime 9 knowledge center. You of course also need a Community server. You don't need to federate it with the SSC, it runs fine as a stand alone application managed by it's own ISC.
