ALT+TAB Issue

When a mail message is open in notes client and I use ALT+TAB to go to other application window and comeback to Notes client, the mail message that was open is automatically closed. This is only happening with the mails that come from internet and not for the internal mails.

Same here...
I've reproduced this and confirm it's only happening with email from external sources, but have some details to add:
  • With any email open (external or internal), just pressing the Tab key closes the email.
  • Using Alt+Tab, whether it closes an open email is timing-dependent. Specifically, I have to release the Tab key after releasing the Alt key to make the problem occur.

...additional question: Are your servers accessed from 9.0 Notes client also upgraded to 9.0? I have just installed client for initial testing and server is still 8.5. Maybe that has something to do with it?

My clients and servers are both 9.  My workstation is also W7-64bit for whatever that's worth.

Still a bug in 9.0.1

I can't believe this is still valid for 9.0.1. Please do something about this. This is extremely annoying.

It seems that while holding the tab key longer than the alt key does also fire tabs in other applications apart from notes, there's a normal "type delay" built in that delays the fire of the first tab send to the application effectively remeding this problem. Why does this not apply to Notes.

Same problem

I am using Notes 9 for quite some time now and I did notice this months ago. I only searched for it today just to check if I am not alone in encountering this problem. I hope IBM releases a fix for the issue soon.
