Lotus 9 Client Installation Error

Hello. I have been upgrading my users to Lotus Notes Client 9.0.1 without issue for the most part. On one users machine however, the installer for 9.0.1 will run, error partway through the installation, and then rollback its actions. I have the error logs available for viewing. If someone could advise me as to why this is occurring, I would appreciate it.

This is a Windows 7 machine, upgrading from 8.5 to 9.0.1

Reboot

I have tried rebooting the machine. I'm just curious as to what the error logs mean. They don't mean much to me and I was hoping for an explanation. Thank you for the utility. I will keep that in my toolbox.

check the registry
based on the logs you sent:

extracted from log:

unable to delete key "\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\IBM\Lotus\Expeditor"

There must be a problem on accessing the registry,

advise:

try running the installer as an administrator or run the installer during safemode

Install.log

We will need more data from the user and in that case, can you check out the Install.log found in the "My Documents" folder of the user and upload it here? This will contain more information about why the upgrade is failing.
