RAM usage

Hi guys,

I have question about how much RAM domino can use.

I've already installed domino 64bits on debian 64bits. If I type in console 'show memory' it gives "Memory Available: 4 080 Mbytes" but in system there is 8gb RAM. I've been already been trying set in notes.ini variable MEM_AddressableMemSizeMB, but it only takes effect if I set value below 4080, otherwise 'show memory' returns still 4080mb.

So domino can only use 4GB of RAM, or am I doing something wrong?

I assume it is my mistake, so I appreciate yours help.

yes, domino will handle > 4 GB memory
For backwards compatibility some areas still report 4 GB as the largest amount of memory but underneath we can address > 4GB.  In addition, remember that a Domino partition is made up of multiple processes and each will be using memory.  Thanks!
