Modifying the R9 Mail file

We are currently using R7, on an R8.5x server, we are in the process of upgrading to R9.

We have made a few modifications to the Mail template, and we want to be able to use mail on the browser. I don't know how to make those modifications to the R9 mail template to have them work on the browser.

I am wondering if anyone knows a consultant that I could hire to work with me on modifying the Mail template.

I have 22 years of Lotus Notes development experience, but for the last 12 years have mostly done notes client work.

We have a discussion type database that we use for collaboration. The change we made to the mail file was adding a button that would copy a mail message to the discussion database so people could collaborate with it.

The action button pulls up a dialogbox so the user can select the database where they want to copy it, and then select the categories for the document.

Any information would be great. My company is willing to hire someone to train me depending on the cost.

Thanks.

Upgrading Mail file
You don't need to hire a consultant. You can use Domino mail convert utility if you want to upgrade the mail file.
Here's the link for the proper way to do it.

In case you need further assistance ,  you may want to open a PMR with IBM to help you
with regards to upgrading a mail file or a database.
