IMS profiles could get corrupted prior to 2.0.1.2. Suggest new profile.
There have been a number of issues reported over the last month or two that have a root cause of "corruption" in your ims data file.  This has been a very frustrating issue for some since it can exhibit a variety of symptoms and the only known good fix is to recreate the profile (some symptoms can be resolved by fixup tools Microsoft offers, but we are not sure that really fixes root cause).
The current release (2.0.1.2) is believed to fix the root cause of these corruption issues.  However, it does not repair a profile already created.  So, if you see any of these symptoms we suggest you upgrade to 2.0.1.2 (If you are connected to SmartCloud Notes, AutoUpdate should have prompted you to already do this last week, and in fact 2.0.1.3 should now be getting pushed today).  Once you do that, you will need to create a new profile, which can be done automatically by clicking the link at step 3 in the link below for SmartCloud Notes customers.
Install and auto configure site

Symptoms that indicate profile corruption can include the following:
-Regardless of connection, you cannot ever complete a sync - it stays in error case
-Resets leave duplicate folders/messages
-Outlook will prompt an error that it cannot display the contents of some messages
-Outbox can be filled with many copies of the same message
-and others.

Additional details regarding the recent fixes can be found here (#297 is of particular interest perhaps): https://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21989448
