Configuring Notes Domino environment

Situation: 

                  After installing domino server and ibm notes client, how to configure them to send and receive mails using the client? I don't know the networking concepts. Please help.

What type of mail are you trying to configure? Notes, SMTP, IMAP?  Did you look at the Configuring messaging section of the Admin Clients help documentation?

Hi,

I've installed and setup Notes client(came along with Domino designer setup) and Domino server separately. need to configure 'em both to have the client send and receive mails from internet and also our company's intranet.

which type of mail should i use and how to configure it?
