Hello.

Here is a strange one which I hope someone can shed some light on.

We are running Domino 9.01 and Traveler, with Verse running on our Android phones.

We have several users who are experiencing issues with graphic files in emails.

A number of users have a signature on their emails, with the company logo. When sending replies back and forth between clients, the image files which start off as in-line images (Notes Client),

end up in either the header or footer of the email. So if there are multiple replies, we end up with a handful of company logos in the header or footer, which looks rather naff and is driving our users mad.

This only happens when replying from the phones. When using the Notes client, we do not have this issue.

Can anyone advise how we can stop this from happening or is this something for IBM to look at ?

I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Simon

APAR LO82585

Hi,

An APAR for a filed enhancement request is actually in the works to address this issue both on Android and iOS: APAR LO82585

Description:

Adding in-line image(PNG) from iOS or Android is displayed as an attachment in Notes Client.

I know it's not really an attachment in your end but it works the same way and will be addressed in future releases of Traveler.
