Hi All,

I have a strange problem, after configuring ee , everytime I open the Updates page or an email with embedded content from connections, a firebug console opens too!

Has anybody knowledge about getting rid of this?

Thanks

Klaus

Try a completely clean install of Notes
Hi Klaus,

Embedded Experiences renders using a XULRunner embedded browser, which is based on Firefox 24.  This is also used by XPages.  Is is possible that you did some seemingly unrelated customizations in your Notes client that could be causing this?  When you say Firebug, do you mean full Firebug, or Firebug lite?  Does the console appear within the browser displaying the EE or in a separate window?

A good test would be to do a clean install of IBM Notes on a different machine and see if you can reproduce the problem.  If you can't, then something has been done to customize your current Notes client.  The browser profile is stored in <data directory>/workspace/BrowserProfile  Making a backup, and removing this directory may fix your problem.

Cheers,

Simon

Didn't work

Hi Simon,

thank you for your reply, I tried all your suggestions but nothing did it, even on a clear new install of the client, the console, which is firebug lite, will appear.

The console opens in the same window, it also appears in emails with EE content fron Connections.

Cheers,

Klaus

Embedded Experience

Hi Klaus,

Do you suppose you inadvertently set an association with your EE content to firebug?
