~Kim OpboosichekikleJun 7, 2013, 8:08 PM27 PostsMake sure to access Help from the Designer client menu The content for those searches can be found when you access the Designer help from inside the client. If you open the .nsf separately, that database has a different, smaller set of content for the 9.0 release.
~Emile MinfookonyjipSep 25, 2014, 10:45 AM28 PostsExactly, but not what many programmer does... (Use Case missing)The most common, to the 21 years of Notes development I have, is to have Designer Help open (as it sure does) in a separate Window. One that could be sized on a separate (laptop) screen beside the primary projector screen used for programming. The problem is navigation - it seems. My favorite use, was to use the Index, like this from 8.5: and then simply click around, among the related APIs and useful Example code.... The Notes 9 Designer Help, if its computer generated, should be available in two versions (what the heck, it doesn't take up much space), if its necessary to do such major change to our development environment ! My xPages (looong introduction) could have been easier, I'm sure, if I had better Designer Help in Notes 9. Trying to find Index entry 'Open' (like the above Notes 8.5 sample) in Notes 9 Designer Help ! Its not even in the Index ! Can the Designer Help be bug fixed ?
