Designer breaks Sametime

1) When opening Designer, the Sametime Contacts pane disappears completely from the sidebar, so I no longer have awareness of who's on first. If I click back to the Notes Client, the Sametime Contacts panel usually reappears, but it is annoying to lose the awareness.

2) After opening and subsequently closing Designer, Sametime no longer auto-updates my status when I lock my PC. As long as I leave Designer opened, the status does continue to get auto-updated - but once Designer closes it doesn't.

RE: Designer breaks Sametime

Possibly related - since the advent of Eclipse Designer , I have seen sporadic interference with other apps, and I'm thinking it could be JVM issues or memory resource issues. The apps that I have had the most consistent trouble with when running DDE are:

Mirth Connect Administrator - gets flaky and freezes (it's another eclipse based app)

Radmin viewer client - won't connect to to remote computers

All I have to do is close one of the competing apps (or reboot if it's too late) and these problems resolve.
