Hi all,

Two of my customers are migrating their RDP Server from 2003 to 2008 R2 or 2012.

The DATA directories of the Notes clients are on a remote drive.

Now that they migrated towards win2008, they get plenty of :
'The specified network name is no longer available'

The remote drive is also on win2008.
Using Notes Basic is better than Notes Standard, but does not solve.
Notes client is of release 853 or 901. It was installed with the recommanded command line for Citrix.

We tried several options with the network, but no luck.
The network is not fine, but the Notes client never complained before !?

The question is : why did it worked with old ugly windows 2003 server, and not anymore with new 2008/2012 ?
Is it the new SMB v2 network share protocol ?
I would be interested with your experience on 2008 server. Thanks.
