remove temp files in Domino 9

Hi,

a few months ago, we upgraded to Domino 9.0.1 FP3 from FP2. Since then, the Domino temp files has been piling up really very quick at about 2GB per day. I ended up removing them manually on monthly basis.

Wondering what causing domino to start creating lots of temp files, the format eo*tm, example eo2244293144tm ?
Anyway to make Domino trim them down automatically or delete the file when it is not being used? I have see some code in codestore to remove those temp files but just like to know any notes.ini entry that can do the job.
