Mail databases showing old design - design has been upgraded

Hello:

I recently installed Notes 8 basic on a Windows 7 machine and Windows 8 machine.

I upgraded the users email database design to Notes 8.

When the users access their email databases using their Notes 8 basic clients, the old blue 8.5 design is shown. Email message preview on the side not available.

If I access those two same databases from my full Notes 8 client, the new grey Notes 8 design of the mail databases is shown. Email message preview on the side is available.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Working as designed.

You need to install the standard client to get these features.  The basic client does not have Eclipse installed.
