Invalid Notes ID, when sending new emails - since installing SHF164

Since installing the latest Notes win 32 hotfix SHF164, our users are getting a 'Invalid Note ID' popup, when they send a newly created email.

The emails get delivered just fine, but a bug in the hotfix, I think ?

Invalid Note ID for new sent mail with SHF164

I have just run the Fix pack again to uninstall SHF164.

I have been put back to base 9.0.1 (20131022.1138), even though I was at SHF106 when it was installed.

However - Sending new emails no longer gives the Invalid Note ID error.

About to apply SHF164 again from where I have been put and will see where it takes me next.

Invalid Note ID SHF164

I have now re-installed SHF164 from the base 9.0.1 and all is working fine.

20151125.1108-T00164SHF-FP5 (Release 9.0.1FP5 SHF164)

SHF164 installs without error/warning on top of SHF106 - but you end up with the Invalid Note ID issue when sending newly created emails.

Uninstall previous Fix packs - back to be at base 9.0.1 and then install SHF164 and it 'should' all work fine.

Re: Invalid Note ID SHF164
Hi Ian,

Thanks for your posts.

I'll let the dev team know there is a potential issue with SHF164 when installing over previous hotfixes.

Thanks,

Mark
