on a test bed machine that is windows 7, i have a 2012r2 vm which serves as a domain controller and has a domino server installed, and a windows 10 vm that is a domain client and has a notes cllient, the base windows 7 does not belong to the domain.  all 3 are on the same subnet.  i have no problems using a browser and logging in and sending/reading email from the domain client or from a remote connection with any computer or tablet device but if i use the windows 7 non-domain member to logon, it cannot connect.  it doesn't matter if i use a tablet device or phone, if it is connected to the local network and not a part of the domain, i cannot get a connection to the server.  the computer is behind a cisco asa firewall and i have opened ports 80 and 443 so not sure how to nget the local, non-domain connection to work.
