B-Tree error when clicking on Subject column in mail database

Hello all,

I have one user that have problem with her mail views - every single time when she click on sorting by Subject, "B-Tree structure is invalid" window is shown. In the log, there are several messages

I've tried all: fixup, compact, updall, delete FTI, disable quota, create new replica (compact -replica), refresh / replace index. But it is not related to her mail file - when I did archive her mails to archive database, she don't have this problem anymore but the problem is now in her archive database. So the problem is with (maybe just one) some mail subject?

IBM support was unable to help me without user database that I can't send. Did anyone have some suggestion for this problem?

Um, what'd you try with "updall"

In any event, do you have access to the view she's in? If so --

Open the view.

Hold down the Shift key and press F9.

Switch to sorting by subject. If you succeed, do Shift-F9 again.

If you don't succeed, set up to run Updall -r on the user's mail DB.

Oh, tried that also

Thank you Mike for your answer!

I've tried to rebuild views via CTRL+F9 and also with CTRF+SHIFT+F9 but no luck but forget to mention it... I'm using UPDALL -R.

Try the following...

If you haven't already tried, you could try the following:

Compact -C -D (Does copy style compact and deletes all existing view indexes)

Followed by:

Updall -R

Is the problem with the view or just certain documents?

If the error disappeared in the mail file after archiving, and started in the archive after receiving the one or more problem documents, then I would think that the issue is not with the view but with the documents that have been moved to the archive.
