Dear All,

Problem : Email Contact is unable to send email to groups .

Problem Description :

                 1.     We have Restricted groups which are only available for local users, ( no external emails ).

                 2.     Email contact for auto generated emails & is a member of a group. ( Email Relay Access Group )

                 3.     This group is allowed in the "Security Tab" of a group but still it does not send email to the group. "  Failure Reason:    Not authorized to send mail to this user or group "

Any solution ?

Some questions

How is the user listed in the group? For example, as Jane Doe/ACME or in some other way?  You mention groups are allowed to send. Is the user a direct or indirect member of more than one group (that is, other than the Email Relay Access Group)?  If you add them individually are they then able to send mail? Did you issue a tell router update config after making your changes?

As this is only a contact not ( mail user ) so user@domain.com is added in the security group list.
