Running OC RHEL v6.5

IBM Notes 9, Social Edition,  Release 9.0.1FP2, Revision 20140804.1000-FP2 (Release 9.0.1)

Enabled Right Side Panel and have selected "Alerts" , "Retain Search",  "SameTime contacts" and "Sametime Primary contacts" in this order.

After closing and restarting LN Client the positions of the sidebar items are not preserved. They switch around I get this order "SameTime contacts", "Retain Search"  "Retain Search" and  "Alerts".

Is there a way to save the order of these items to the positions I selected originally?

RE: Sidebar panel positions not saved

Hi Tosh,

After you enable your sidebar panels so you see "Alerts" , "Retain Search",  "SameTime contacts" and "Sametime Primary contacts"...if you manually arrange them by dragging them up and down in the order you wish.

If you close Notes and open it again, are they in the same order they were in before you closed Notes.

Doing the above works fine for me (granted, my v9 Notes Client is on Windows but I'm not sure how that would make a difference).

Regards,

Paul.

Hi Paul

The sequence you describe is exaclty how I arrange the sidebars. I drag the panels and restart notes ... alas, the panels revert back to 'default' settings.
