Error Installing IBM Notes Client

I am having trouble installing IBM Notes 9.0.1 on a Windows 8 machine.

I have downloaded a clean NOTES_9.0.1_WIN_EN.exe and run on a newly rebooted machine. Following all the default settings.

The install fails right at the end verifying: "com.ibm.opensocial.sapi.feature_9.0.1.20131022-1058"

The logs don't help much!

The install in on an itallien language machine.

Any help gratefully recieved.

Hello!

Are there any previous Notes installation on this machine?

Anyway, try to use the tool from TN below to clear all registry, files, etc before try to a new installation
Using the Lotus Notes Install Cleanup Executable (NICE) tool
