Error updating local ID file:

  • Category: Domino Server
  • Platform: Windows
  • Release: 9.0.1

I just had to shut down my server and when it restarted it had a very strange date 11/14/9938 so I shut down Domino and changed the date to today. Then restarted the server and Domino. Got several database that have a replication Date to far in the future but got them fixed. Went into Log.nsf and found entries for 9938 and deleted them. Now when I start the Domino server I get an error "Error updating local ID file: The information in the supplied certificate from the Address Book entry is out of date." I have seen some solutions for this when working with a client but this happens as the server boots up and no clients are logged in. In addition none of the server console is being written to the log.nsf

I re-certified the server.id file and copied it back onto the server, but that does not appear to help. So somewhere the server must still have the 9938 date stored but I can't figure out where or how to fix it.

Thanks

Certificate issue

ull a backup of the address book, and copy/paste the certificates from the backup into the current address book, or just replace the current address book with a backup copy.
