Traveler vs BES10

I am doing my best to understand a strange issue we have with our Traveler server, and am perplexed as to whether or not the BES10 server is doing what I suspect it is doing.

I can register a user on the BES10 server.  They can activate their device. I see where (it appears) that the BES10 server reaches out to our Traveler server to create the Traveler account.  The account goes active, and the user synchs.

Sometimes it happens right away.  Some times it happens after a few days of synching.  For some reason, in the LotusTraveler.nsf database, where users are listed, I'll see BES10 (Z10) users' accounts disappear, then reappear.  In some cases, though, the accounts will disappear from Traveler and the user calls to report they are no longer synching.  Try as I might, the only thing that seems to resolve it is to delete their account from the Z10 device, then re-activate against the Blackberry server.

Am I the only one on the planet who is experiencing this?  Our installation of the BES10 server was problematic, and took 3 weeks of working with RIM to get it online.  I have users who work fine, yet I have others whose devices will stop synching, and I'll notice the Traveler server no longer has their device in the LotusTraveler.nsf database.

I'm perplexed....

same problems

We are having similar problems. But the devices are still linked to the users.

It continues to confuse me...

So...I have one user who has had his device wiped, or we have removed the Email account, going on at least a dozen times.  This morning, I was asked again if he could try re-authenticating.

I went into the Traveler database, found his device, then issued the Delete & Security Delete on Traveler.  I reset his account activation password on the BES10 server.  User has re-activated his Z10, and reports mail is going to device, but Calendar items are not.

I don't know that there is anything I can do to force a specific component of the device to synch with it.  Since Mail/Calendar/Contacts are all part of the same (mail) database, I am failing to understand how one component (Mail) will synch just fine, but the user receives absolutely no calendar items.
