Solaris dropped officially in 9.x?

Just went off to download the alpha code. No signs of a Solaris version...

Does that mean it is officially and definitively dropped as a supported platform? This would be the first time that a platform is dropped (except for OS/2) as far as I know...

I could not find any official statement from IBM.

Correct. Solaris is not supported in Domino 9.

Here is the response from Jan 2013 link in the beta forum.

We have dropped other platforms as the market demand for Domino on that platform dropped off: OS/2, HPUX, NTLM, Digital Alpha, and more recently zOS. We also dropped a linux flavor on the client with 9.0.
