Dear All,

We are using Lotus Notes 8.5.3 and planned to upgrade to 9.0.1. We are using trial version of 9.0.1 for testing. Previosly, we will make use of "File"->"Save as" button to generate an .eml file for archive purpose. However, in the trial version of 9.0.1, the "Save as" button is dim and cannot be clicked. Is it the limitation for the trial version? Thank you very much.

Best Regards,

Cato Yeung

Save As

In the Lotus Notes 9.0.1 version, you still have the "Save As" button.  If you select a document (email, etc) you can select the "Save As" button to rename the document as you save it.  It appears that what you are experiencing is a limitation of the trial version, or an issue with your current installation.

You need to be in the message itself...

If you have only the inbox/folder view open or the preview pane open and the document highlighted in the view then "save as" is greyed out. You can either click into the message body or open the message fully and then "save as" is not greyed out anymore.

Export to RTF?

'Save as...' is not worked to me in non-trial version of 9.0.1 too, although I never used this option before. May be, export to RTF will help you?

Open note for edit by double-click in body area, then use File->Export... Select 'Microsoft RTF' as output format
