Hello,

when I try to send a file to the recipient of the email, it opens the lotus client but get the following error:

ibm notes mailman error

"the server threw an exception"

Lotus is set as the default mail client.

you have suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks

Andrea

I'm not sure which solution you tried, but did you also try to configure the Notesclient to use server-based mail (i.e. your location document should point directly to the Domino server, not using a local mail file replica)?

Deleting the byURL view in bookmark.nsf

Can you try deleting the ByURL view in bookmark.nsf? To do that:

  1. Go to the user's Client and open the Workspace, then highlight the bookmark icon.
  2. Hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys, and from the menu, select View > Go To > (ByURL). Note: This is a hidden view.
  3. In the same view, select all documents and delete them.
  4. Restart the Client and check if the issue will reoccur.

Hope that helps!
